Consultations

The district council consults on many issues as a result of local and national policy. For example to measure certain national Best Value performance indicators the public are asked their views on a range of subjects.

About our consultations

The majority of consultations are aimed at specific groups, or on random samples.  Unfortunately this means that we are unable to include other responses in the direct analysis. However, if you have comments please do submit them and they will be passed on to the relevant group for consideration.

Where possible the council does provide e-enabled consultation (consultation which can be completed electronically). Recent examples of this have been where we where encouraged people to send us their views on the proposed local government changes for Unitary status.

When we are undertaking corporate consultations which are open to the public we will try to include them in the list below:

• Annual Plan Consultation - tell us whether you think we need to produce an Annual Plan.
• Disabled People Survey 2008  - tell us how well we support disabled people.
• Website Survey - on going consultation about the councils' website and changes you would like to see.
