Council Plan

The Council is working towards longer term ambitions and medium term objectives. Each year we produce a Council Plan outlining what we have been doing throughout the year towards these and how well we have delivered our services. This plan also sets out our priorities and targets for improvement and action for the coming year.

  • Council Tax Leaflets - Every household receives a copy of our Council Tax Leaflet which contains useful information about the council and the services we provide.
  • Statutory Reports - Each year the Audit Commission carries out an audit of our Council Plan, which incorporates our Best Value Performance Plan and publishes a statutory report.
  • Performance Management - The targets in the Council Plan are monitored on a regular basis and you can find out more about this on our Performance Management pages.
