Changes in personal circumstances
If your circumstances change because you move to another property for any reason, please inform the Local Taxation Service, at the earliest possible date. You can do this by completing the change in personal circumstances form (below). If this change leads to a reduction in your council tax we may need to ask you to write to us, because for legal reasons we will need your signature. The Council's records will then be amended and we will let you know the payment position for your previous and any new liability.
Council Tax - are you moving to or from a property?
Use this form to let the Council know of changes, following moving in or moving out of a property within the District. If you wish to claim a discount, due to the fact that you are the only person over the age of 18 years living in the property, you must send in a letter to the Council requesting a reduction. We cannot accept claims for single person discount via the web site.
This form should only be completed if the entire household is moving. If only some members of the household are moving please contact the Council by phone or letter.

3. Are you moving WITHIN the District? complete form 3
