Electoral Registration

The Registration and Licensing service at South Bedfordshire District Council administers the annual canvass of every household within the district, for the production of the Electoral Register.

Annual Register

Each year every eligible person must register at his or her home address to be able to vote. Annual canvass forms are hand delivered to every house in the District between the end of August and November.

Rolling Register

If you have moved into the area, you can still be added to the current register by completing a rolling registration form. Once you have been added to the current register you do not need to contact your old council to tell them you have moved into our area, we will advise them to remove your details from their register.

There are special rules regarding rolling registration during an election period, please check with us first if you want to apply during such a period.
