Santa Claus has checked his list but whether you have been naughty or nice he is still going to make an appearance at the library in Bedford Square in Houghton Regis on Saturday 16 December. He will be in residence from 10am until 1pm, and then after a short break to feed his reindeer, he will return from 2pm until 4pm. This could be your last chance to see Father Christmas before the big night and parents will be glad to know that admission to see the great man himself is free.

Other entertainment taking place at the library is the Mayors best dressed Christmas tree competition for all Houghton Regis Lower schools. Prizes will be announced on the day and selected cards from the Town Mayors Christmas card competition will also be on display making Houghton Regis the place to be for a good injection of Christmas cheer.
