Gambling policy published (05/01/07)

The act introduces new procedures and will significantly affect the administration of gambling. The council will become the licensing authority and be responsible for dealing with applications for premises licences, permits, occasional use notices and temporary use notices.The Licensing Policy/Statement of Principles sets out what the new law means for businesses and how the council will process applications. It can be found on the council’s website www.southbeds.gov.uk and can also be inspected during normal office hours by prior arrangement at South Bedfordshire District Council, The District Offices, High Street North, Dunstable, Beds LU6 1LF.
