The Knights in Shining Armour are Coming Back to Houghton Regis.

The massively popular Houghton Regis Medieval Fayre is back.

On Saturday 8 September 2007 the crowds will be entertained once again with a whole host of activities, which will be free for the whole family.

This year promises to be bigger and better than before with a full medieval encampment being set up for people to see how knights and damsels of the time would have lived.

But the main event will once again be the fantastic Jousting with The Devil's Horsemen who will also be joined by The House of Bayard who will be putting on a full Tournament and combat display.

There will also be a chance for everyone to get involved too.

There will be historical walks around the town, bird of prey displays where you can handle some of the birds, try on armour and medieval clothes and why not even have a go at making your very own coat of arms.

The event which is organised by South Bedfordshire District Council, Houghton Regis Town Council and Houghton Regis Town Centre Management Committee will be held on The Village Green, Houghton Regis between 10am and 4pm.
