'Trash Fash' Fashion Show
Using a unique blend of fashionista focus and environmental awareness the guides are putting on a fashion show this week that takes recycling to a new level.
Inspired by a recent talk about Reducing, Reusing and Recycling from South Bedfordshire District Council's Recycling Team, they have been designing clothes made out of the things most of us throw away.
Recycling Support Officers will then judge the best designs.
The ‘Trash Fash’ Fashion Show will take place at the 1st Linslade Guides at their weekly meeting on the evening Friday 18 April 2008.
Guide Leader Maureen Cloke said: " The girls have been working so hard to put this show together. We've had some really original ideas and they're really looking forward to showing of their designs. Who knows maybe one day we'll see some of their work on the high street"
