Chairman’s Inaugural Reception

The Chairman of South Bedfordshire District Council, Councillor Mrs. Ruth Gammons hosted her Inaugural Reception at Grove Theatre on Thursday, 10 July.

Nearly 200 guests joined the Chairman at her reception with dignitaries attending from across the district, numerous representatives from voluntary organisations as well as Councillors from South Bedfordshire District Council plus Members from Dunstable, Leighton Linslade and Houghton Regis Town Councils and Members and officers from Mid Beds District Council.

A raffle was held during the evening and over £550 was raised towards the Chairman’s charities namely: East Anglian Air Ambulance (Bedfordshire Appeal)  and Rural Areas of South Beds.

The Chairman would like to thank all those who attended and supported the event.
