Recycle Your Old Catalogue And Give It A Makeover!

As this summer’s fashions start to be announced and new mail order catalogues are being sent out to homes across the district, South Bedfordshire District Council is reminding shoppers to recycle their old one

This month, many high street shops and mail order outlets are launching their new catalogues meaning it is time to throw the old ones away.

So instead of committing the fashion pages to a horrible death in the local landfill site give the catalogue a makeover by recycling it. It’ll then be turned into something new for next season.

Many companies are already cottoning on to the importance of recycling as South Bedfordshire District Council’s Recycling Officer, Sarah Molloy explains: "Many of these catalogues use a lot of paper and responsible companies like Argos are reminding their customers to make sure the old ones are put in the recycling bin too. If you do put an old catalogue in your orange bin or bag then South Bedfordshire District Council will make sure it gets recycled for you".
