SBDC Out of Hours Emergency Phone Number: 01582 665698.

Police: In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for Police, otherwise call Bedfordshire Police on 01582 401212.

Fire: In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for Fire, otherwise call Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service on 01234 351081.

Ambulance: In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for Ambulance, otherwise call East of England Ambulance Service on 01234 408 999.

Gas: If you suspect a gas leak, contact Nationalgrid on 0800 111999 (24hours).

Floods: For flood warnings and advice, contact the Environment Agencys Floodline on 0845 9881188.

British Waterways: If an incident appears to be life/injury threatening or involves fire/crime, dial 999. Otherwise call the British Waterways emergency helpline on 0800 4799947.

Emergency Social Services Matters: ONLY for matters which cannot wait until the next working day. Call 0870 238 5465 Outside office hours only.
