A new weapon in the battle to improve food hygiene

It is very important that all food businesses obey the law and supply food that is safe to eat. Customers can noe see how well a food business has done on its last inspection through a scheme called Scores on the Doors.

Under this scheme, each food outlet may display inspection information on the door or window, supported by information on a website - www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk. Consumers would be able to make choices about where to eat based not only on the menu but knowing how well the restaurants they choose to go to are maintaining good food hygiene.
