Syringes

Needles, syringes and other drug related items (clinical waste) discarded in public places are a threat to public safety and are removed by the Council.

If you have clinical sharps please do not put them in with your household waste. Please contact your local health service about a sharps removal service. If you find discarded needles in the environment, keep away and contact the Envirocrime Unit (ECU) who will come and remove them.
