Parking for Market Traders

Parking for Market Traders is available in Ashton Square Car Park in Dunstable and in Duncombe Drive Car Park in Leighton Buzzard in marked red bays.

Wendy Fair Markets Ltd manage the markets for South Bedfordshire District Council and they are also responsible for the administration of the permits enabling the market the car parks.

Regular Market Traders should contact Wendy Fair Markets Ltd direct for any issues relating to parking permit.

Casual Market Traders can purchase a reduced daily ticket at the cost of £3.00 per day from the pay and display machines located in the car parks. In addition, a Wendy Fair Market Trader voucher obtainable from the market manager must also be on display in the vehicle. 

Failure to correctly display a permit or a pay and display ticket and a Wendy Fair Market Trader voucher will result in a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) which will be fully enforceable.

If you received a Penalty Charge Notice and you disagree with it being issued, you, the market trader (Registered Keeper of the Vehicle) can challenge the PCN by writing to South Bedfordshire District Council. Send your Representation to Vinci Park Services UK Ltd. P O Box 597, Northampton NN4 7XN quoting the Penalty Charge Notice number and giving your full name and postal address, and tell us why you should not pay the Penalty Charge Notice. Unfortunately, we cannot deal with challenges over the phone. It is in your best interest not to ignore the Penalty Charge Notice it will not go away.
