Fly-tipping is a serious issue and if caught the culprit could face a maximum 50,000 fine and/or imprisonment. Fly-tipping is conducted by organised crime gangs as well as the inconsiderate resident too lazy or selfish to dispose of it properly. Do not tackle a fly-tipper yourself but immediately report it to the ECU including details of the vehicle and driver.
