communals     Recycling in flats and communal properties

Many flats and communal properties throughout the district have been provided with shared bins for both recycling and household waste.

To make recycling in your flat even easier we have reusable bags which we offer to residents living in flats. The durable and wipe clean material means that the bag can be used again and again to take your recyclables to the shared recycling bin.

We will be reviewing flat properties throughout the district to improve the waste and recycling facilities available to residents.

For more information please contact the Recycling Team

Bramley Court and Russett Way Recycling Trial

We are currently running a recycling trial at Bramley Court in Dunstable. The purpose of the scheme is to help residents to recycle more and by doing so creating a cleaner, greener place to live. The black lidded bin is for non recyclable household waste. The blue lidded bin is for dry, loose recyclables. We can accept plastic bottles, tins, cans, paper and cardboard. The materials must be posted through the lid; we cannot accept materials in bags. Residents have a reusable bag to store their recycling, before posting the materials into the blue lidded bin.
