There are 70 Recycling Sites around the District. These sites include:

Household Waste Recycling Centres
Bedfordshire County Council provides two Household Waste Recycling Centres situated within South Bedfordshire District.
These are located at:

Shenley Hill Road, Leighton Buzzard Tel.01525 371619
Sites are open 7 days a week, 9am- 5pm. (Sept - April); 9am - 7pm (May - Aug) Please pre-sort your waste before you get to the site and ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before closing time. (Sites are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day and close at 1pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve).
Permits
You may be required to obtain a permit before you enter the sites. This depends on the type of waste you want to deposit and the vehicle you are using.
