Housing Requirement Study - August 2005

Opinion Research Services (ORS) were commissioned to carry out a Housing Study for South Beds. The study was designed to assess the future requirements for both affordable and market housing. To do this the study drew on a number of sources of information.

These included:

• A face-to-face interviews with 1,517 local households.
• Information from local estate and letting agents.
• Review of secondary data (including Land Registry, Census and information from the Council's Housing Investment Programme (H.I.P) form).

As part of the commission a number of focus groups were held with the Gypsy/Travellers and BME communities.
