Developers Forum
The Joint Committee has aspirations for being known as the ‘Green Growth Area’ and developing a truly sustainable community. It believes that to achieve this and deliver quality places and new communities that benefit both future and existing residents it must work closely with developers and other stakeholders.
A Developers Forum has been set up to enable better, more proactive, and more effective planning and delivery of development through the sharing of knowledge and resources between the Councils and key developers.
Meeting regularly, the Developers Forum will discuss issues, agree aspirations, and develop approaches and strategies on a range of important matters such as: housing and employment delivery; sustainable and innovative construction; high quality design; sustainable transport solutions; and environmental and landscape protection.
The Action Points emerging from each meeting of the Developers Forum and relevant papers will be posted on this page.
