Landowner/Developer Seminars

In recent months, a series of 4 seminars have been held at which landowners/developers with sites in the Green Belt have made presentations to the three authorities involved in delivering the growth.

The purpose of the seminars was:

  • To help inform where development may be located;
  • To identify the constraints relating to the sites being promoted;
  • To identify the potential types of development being considered by landowners and developers; and
  • To establish the nature of 'planning gain' expected to be delivered.

In total 35 presentations were made by landowners/developers at the 4 seminars.

The written representations submitted by the landowners and developers in support of their presentations have been collated into a "Library" with a Library Catalogue (PDF 29.0KB) and associated Map (PDF 3.9MB).

Please note the written submissions do not constitute formal planning applications.

If you wish to view the documents, please visit the Planning Reception at the South Bedfordshire District Council offices, where a Planning Support Officer will be able to assist you.  To help ensure that the documents are available for you to view, please contact a Planning Support Officer prior to visiting the offices on 0845 849 6160.

Please also read the Library Instructions (PDF 35.3KB) which outlines how the library will be operated and the photocopying procedures.  It is possible to order photocopies of the documents.  Please contact a Planning Support Officer who will advise you further.  Alternatively you can order copies and pay online.
