How many plans need to be submitted with the search?
4 plans are required with every search.

How long are searches taking at present?
The vast majority of searches are completed within 10 working days, however our current turn around time on a standard search is 5 working days. If you want to enquire about the progress of a search please contact the office.

Which water authority does that property come under?
The district is covered by Anglian or Thames Water. The majority of the district is comes under Anglian water but an area of south Dunstable and in the south of the district comes under Thames. If you telephone the office and tell a member of staff the address we can check for you.

Do you accept searches electronically?
Yes, we are now connected to the National Land Information Service (NLIS), and can receive search requests electronically. This is now our preferred method of receiving searches.

To send your searches through NLIS, and communicate with us over the internet, you must become electronically linked to NLIS. To register for this service please contact one of the three NLIS licensed Channels.
