Previously Developed Land And Issues
The Department of Communities and Local Government defines previously developed land as that which is or was occupied by a permanent structure (excluding agricultural or forestry buildings) and associated fixed surface infrastructure. The Councils Planning Service and Environmental Health Service work together as a development team in order to resolve contaminated land issues affecting proposals for new development.
