Minerals and Waste

As the Minerals and Waste Planning Authority the County Council has a statutory duty to prepare and review a Minerals and Waste Local Plan for its area. This is carried out with regard to national, regional and local guidance. A combined Minerals and Waste Local Plan for Bedfordshire and Luton was adopted in January 2005.
