Footpaths
Public Footpaths can be used by walkers only. It is a civil wrong to ride a bicycle or a horse on a footpath; action could be taken by the landowner for trespass or nuisance by the user.
Rights of Way Officers at Bedfordshire County Council work with farmers, landowners and local people to make sure that public footpaths are clear and properly maintained, so that everyone can enjoy using them.
